Sand Castle 1 Sand Castle 1

These are my own steps that I used, any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly coincidental. I am hoping that you already have some understanding of PSP.

You will need to download my Sand Castle Selections and save them to your PSP Selections folder. You can download the Sand Castle selections HERE

I am encluding my Tin Foil texture. Right click on image below and save to your My PSP Files/Textures.

Start with a new canvas 440X455. Change your foreground to BLACK and background color to a color of your choice; I am using a light brown #eb8e09. Remember to SAVE often!! We will be working with a lot of layers for this tutorial.

Step 1      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Sand Castle selections and Load 1SC1-pjk. You will see the Marching Ants, now Flood Fill with the BLACK. Go to Selections/Modify/Contract and set it to 1. Flood Fill with your color.

Step 2      Effects/Texture Effects/Texture and use the settings below.

Step 3      Effects/3 D/Inner Bevel and use the settings below. Select None.

This is what it should look like. SAVE AS a .pspimage.

Step 4      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk and Load 2SC1L-turret-pjk.

Step 5      Flood Fill with the BLACK. Go to Selections/Modify/Contract and set it to 1. Flood Fill with your color.

Step 6      Effects/Texture Effects/Texture and use the settings as before.

Step 7      Effects/3 D/Inner Bevel and use the settings. Select None. SAVE

Step 8      Add a New Raster layer. Load 3SC1Mid-turret-pjk.

Step 9      Repeat Steps 5, 6 & 7. SAVE

Step 10      Add a New Raster layer. Load 4SC1R-turret-pjk.

Step 11      Repeat Steps 5, 6 & 7. Arrange/Send to bottom.SAVE

Step 12      Add a New Raster layer. Load 5SC1-Top-pjk.

Step 13      Repeat Steps 5, 6 & 7. Arrange/Send to bottom.SAVE

Step 14      Add a New Raster layer. Load 6SC1-back-pjk.
