Here is a start of one of my trinket tutorials. This is so easy and simple to make.
You can get the supplies HERE. Save the zip file to your folder and open the items in PSP. Minimize them while you work.
Start with a new canvas 200X110. Click on your Preset Shapes Tool and locate the Rectangle, use size 1, foreground color BLACK and background choose the purpleplaid-pjk pattern that I provided. To choose the pattern, LEFT click on your Background color palette, choose the Pattern tab and locate the purpleplaid-pjk pattern (this should be at the very top of your patterns). Use Angle 0 and Scale 50. Now make a rectangle on your canvas, leave room at top and sides.
Maximize the purpleribbon-pjk image. Click on the title bar and COPY. Now click on your tag title bar and Paste as a New Layer. This will add the ribbon to your image tag. Use the Mover Tool to position the ribbon onto your plaid tag, aligning the sides and the top right corner. You can close out the purpleribbon-pjk image. You might need to use the Deform Tool to make slight adjustments to get the ribbon to fit properly, this will all depend on the size for your rectangle.
Maximize the key-lock.pspimage. Copy and Paste as a New Layer just like you did above with the ribbon. Use the Mover Tool to position the key-lock onto your ribbon where in looks "pinched". You can close out the purpleribbon-pjk image.
ZOOM in to about 400 or 500, so that you can see the charm links. Click on the Eraser Tool and use these settings; size 5, hardness 100, step 25, density 100 and opacity 100. Carefully erase the sections of the links that would be BEHIND the ribbon. Remember, if you erase too much, you can always UNDO and start again.
Add a NEW Raster layer. Now you can add any text you like in any font that you prefer. When you are satisfied, then you can Merge/Merge All.
Here are some samples of different ways to make a Locket Tag.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
