Floppy Bunny Logo Floppy Bunny

These are my own steps that I used; any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly coincidental. I am hoping that you already have some understanding of PSP.

You will need to download my Floppy Bunny Selections and save them to your PSP Selections folder. You can download the Floppy Bunny selections HERE

Start with a new canvas 200X385. Change your foreground to BLACK and background color to a color of your choice; I am using a grey #606060.

Step 1      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Floppy Bunny selections and Load 1-FBear-pjk. You will see the Marching Ants, now Flood Fill with the BLACK. Go to Selections/Modify/Contract and set it to 1. Flood Fill with your color. Selections/Float.

Step 2      Effects/3-D/Cutout and use these setting; Vertical (MINUS) -10, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100 & Blur 10. Use a darker shade of a color in your Pattern. Select None.

Duplicate the EAR layer and go to Image/Mirror. SAVE As psp image.

Step 3      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Floppy Bunny selections and Load 2-FBarm-pjk. Go to Selections/Modify/Contract and set it to 1. Flood Fill with your color. Selections/Float.

Step 4      Effects/3-D/Cutout and use these setting; Vertical 10, Horizontal 0, Opacity 75 & Blur 10. Repeat the Cutout changing the Vertical to (MINUS) -10. Select None.

Step 5      Duplicate the ARM layer and go to Image/Mirror. SAVE.

Step 6      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Floppy Bunny selections and Load 3-FBleg-pjk. Go to Selections/Modify/Contract and set it to 1. Flood Fill with your color. Selections/Float.

Step 7      Effects/3-D/Cutout and use these setting; Vertical 10, Horizontal 0, Opacity 75 & Blur 10. Repeat the Cutout changing the Vertical to (MINUS) -10. Select None.

Step 8      Duplicate the LEG layer and go to Image/Mirror. SAVE. We will come back to this layer in a minute.

Step 9      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Floppy Bunny selections and Load 4-FBbody-pjk. Go to Selections/Modify/Contract and set it to 1. Flood Fill with your color. Selections/Float.

Step 10      Effects/3-D/Cutout and use these setting; Vertical 10, Horizontal 10, Opacity 75 & Blur 30. Repeat the Cutout changing the Vertical and Horizontal to (MINUS) -10. Select None.

Step 11      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Floppy Bunny selections and Load 5-FBhead-pjk. Go to Selections/Modify/Contract and set it to 1. Flood Fill with your color. Selections/Float.

Step 12      Effects/3-D/Cutout and use these setting; Vertical 5, Horizontal 5, Opacity 75 & Blur 30. Repeat the Cutout changing the Vertical and Horizontal to (MINUS) -5. Select None.

Now, go back to the COPY of your LEG layer and click on it, this will make that layer active. DRAG the COPY layer BELOW the LEG layer. With the Mover Tool, position the legs so that the bottom "foot" does not show.

Step 13      Click on the HEAD layer to make it active. Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Floppy Bunny selections and Load 6-FBface-pjk. Flood Fill the eyes and nose with BLACK.

Step 14      Effects/3-D/Inner Bevel and use the settings below. Repeat the Inner Bevel using the SAME settings. Select None.

Step 15      Add a New Raster layer. Select your PEN Tool; Point-to-Point, width 2 and draw a line under the NOSE and be sure to add a small mouth. Drag this layer BELOW the FACE layer.

Step 16      Add a New Raster layer. Select your Airbrush Tool; foreground a light rosy pink (I am using #e6cae6), ROUND tip, Size 20, Hardness 100, Step 25, Density and Opacity 100. Make your CHEEKS. Go to Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur and use Radius of 5.

Step 17      Add a New Raster layer. Go to Selections/Load-Save Selections/Load Selections from Disk. Locate the folder where you saved the Floppy Bunny selections and Load 7-FBstitches-pjk.

Step 18      Click on the Paintbrush Tool and use these setting: Select None.

Run the Paintbrush over the STITCHES selections to fill them in (this is a lot easier than clicking on each stitch). Select None.

Step 19      Drag this layer BELOW the BODY layer. Use the Mover Tool to position the stitches if needed.

If you are happy with your Floppy Bunny, Merge/Merge Visible. Crop if needed then you can save as a tube to use at a later time.... File/Export/Picture Tube.
