Animated Cheerleader
When I was in high school our colors were Black & Orange and we were called the Chesaning Indians, the cheerleaders wore white & orange outfits. So I am going to make my cheerleader in these colors. Thank goodness when we graduated the guys wore navy blue robes and the girls wore silvery blue robes... *S*
This is going to be an easy animation for you. I am furnishing you with all the pixel outlines, all you need to do is save them to a folder of your choice. You can download the Cheerleader zip HERE
#1 -- Go to your folder and open Cheerleader1.psp in your Paint Shop window. She is already in a .psp format with a transparent background.
#2 -- ZOOM in to about 250 so that you can see to work. On a piece of paper, write down the colors you will be using, since there will be five different images you will be working with you want the colors all the same. The colors I am using are....
- skin #FCBE99
- hair blonde #FED03C with brown highlights #B56235
- outfit white #FFFFFF & orange #F26815
- shoes black #000000 with orange laces #F26815
- eyes blue #0000FF
- mouth red C00303
#3 -- Using the Magic Wand; tolerance 0, Contiguous & Anti-alias CHECKED and holding down the SHIFT key, click inside the hair and pont tail. Flood fill with your hair color. Then using your highlight color and the PAINT BRUSH, size 1, make some highlights. Select None.
#4 -- Using the Magic Wand; same settings and holding down the SHIFT key, click inside the body areas. Remember to get her neck and hand. Flood fill with your skin color. Select None.
#5 -- Repeat the above steps for her shoes and socks. I added laces but you can add whatever you like. Select None.
#6 -- Using the Magic Wand; same settings and holding down the SHIFT key, click inside both sections of her outfit. Flood fill with your color choice.
Those little skirts are usually pleated with a coordinating color, so remember to add the color. You will need to ZOOM in closer and pixel it in using the PAINT BRUSH with the color of your choice Select None.
#7 -- Now you just need to add her eyes and mouth, then you are done with this image. Save as cheerleader1.psp
NOTE:You can add pom poms and a pony tail tie if you wish to add accents. Try to remember how Cheerleaders dressed when you went to school. Just remember to add EACH change to EACH frame.
#8 -- Now open the Cheerleader2.psp and follow the above steps to complete. Save as cheerleader2.psp
NOTE: Do not forget the laces. I did and had to go back to add them *S*
#9 -- Now open the Cheerleader3.psp and follow the above steps to complete. Save as cheerleader3.psp
#10 -- Now open the Cheerleader4.psp and follow the above steps to complete. Save as cheerleader4.psp
#11 -- Now open the Cheerleader5.psp and follow the above steps to complete. Save as cheerleader5.psp
