If you did my Egg Tutorial, you noticed that I also made a basket to carry them in. Here is an easy way to make my basket. Let's Make an Egg BasketFirst, you will need to right click on my basket and save to your folder.
#1 Make your foreground color a light to medium brown, I am using #c27243, and your background to NULL. Right click on the Raster layer and Convert Background Layer and name this OUTLINE. #2 Click the Magic Wand and use these setting....
Holding down the SHIFT key, click all the white sections. You might want to zoom in when you do the handle sections so that you can see the areas better. Select None. #3 With the Magic Wand, click inside the basket bottom. Add a NEW Raster Layer, name it BASKET, and Flood Fill with the brown. Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Weave and use these settings.
#4 Selections/Float then use your Cutout with these settings.
Selections/Select None. #5 Click on the OUTLINE layer and with the Magic Wand, same settings as above), click inside the RIM section. Add a NEW Raster Layer, name it RIM, Flood Fill with the brown and apply the same Weave settings as above. #6 Selections/Float and apply the same cutout setting. Select None. Your basket should now look like this.
#7 Click on the OUTLINE layer and with the Magic Wand, same settings as above, click inside all the HANDLE sections. Add a NEW Raster Layer, name it HANDLE, Flood Fill with the brown. I want a twisted wicker look for my handle, so I am applying an INNER BEVEL using these setting. Select None. Your basket should look like this.
#8 Click on the OUTLINE layer and with the Magic Wand, same settings as above, click inside the BACK section. Add a NEW Raster Layer, name it BACK, Flood Fill with the brown. Selections/Float and apply the same cutout as above. Select None. #9 Save as a .pspimage if you want to save the layers. I use SHIFT D to make a new copy and then Merge/Merge Visible and then export as a tube. #10 That's it, now you are done. Now you can fill your basket with Easter Eggs, flowers, tiny animals, etc.
