Siggy from Filters

I was was playing around with different Filters and came up with this Sig. This tutorial is my own creation, any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly coincidental.

You will need the following filters.....

Toadies-Blast'em.. you can download it HERE

VM Natural-Splash.. you can download it HERE

Xero-Fritillary.. you can download it HERE

Open a new image 200X200, transparent, 16 million colors and Raster Background.

Click on your Tube Tool and pick a tube of your choice. I scaled mine down to 50%, but you can make it any size that you are comfortable with.

Add a NEW layer, name this TUBE, and place your tube on this layer. Now right click on the Layer and Duplicate it.

Close out your Copy Layer by clicking on the eye and making a Red X.

Click on the TUBE layer.

Got to Effects/Toadies/Blast'em and use the following setting.

Go to Effects/Xero/Fritillary and use the following setting.

Move this image to the side of the canvas. And lower the Opacity to 60.

Duplicate and X out the first layer. You will be working with the NEW copy.

Go to Effects/VM Natural/Splash and use the settings below.

Lower the Opacity to between 70 and 80. I lowered mine to 78.

Move this imgage to the left of your bottom image.

Keeping this SAME layer highlighted, go to Image/Resize. Resize 80% using the Percentage and make sure that the Resize All Layers box is UNCHECKED.

Duplicate this layer and postion it below and slightly to the right.

Highlight the first Copy of the TUBE layer and make it visible. This layer should already be at the top of the Layer Palette. Position it center left over the two duplicate images.

I wanted a slightly smaller flower, so I used the Deform tool to adjust the size.

Add a NEW Layer and add your name.

Merge/Merge Visible and SAVE. Now you can use the Mover Tool and position the image more towards the center of your canvas.

That's it. Now you have a lovely floral siggy.

I hope you enjoyed making this Sig as much as I did creating it.
