Welcome to
Animation Shop 101

You will find Animation Shop Tutorials all over the net. So why am I writing one, you ask?
Well, because 1) I can keep this in my Tutorials List for those who are there and need
the help and 2) because I want to.....LOL

Animation Shop3 was available with older versions of PSP (v9 and before). It does not come
with PSP X or PSP XI. You can go here, Animation Shop, and downlaod a FREE version. Animation
Shop is about half way down on the list of downloads. Download it and install it. If this link no longer
works, then sadly enough, you will have to go to the Corel Website and purchase it.
I am assuming that you already have it with your PSP.

AS 101 Begins Here

I will assume that you are already in PSP.
Go to File/Jasc Software Products/Launch Animation Shop.

STEP 1: With Animation Shop open, click on the Animation Wizard.

STEP 2: Now we will begin with a series of Information windows. Each one being important.
Since these are each self-explanatory, I will let each image be your guide.
I will make notes where appropiate.

STEP 3: Usually we will keep the Transparent CHECKED.

STEP 4: I never change these first few windows.

STEP 5: I always keep the animation repeating itself. Most speeds I use are
between 10 & 35. This is what determines how fast your animation moves. But it can
always be changed later. Remember, the HIGHER the number, the SLOWER the speed.

STEP 6: This window will be empty, until you click ADD IMAGE. Then you will
get your brower window to locate the folder and .psp image that you want to use.

Once you choose the image you need (hold down the SHIFT key and you can add
more than one file), click OPEN.

STEP 7: This is your last window. Click FINISH.

STEP 8: You will now have a strip of images, much like a roll of film. If you have more
than four frames, you can move the slider bar towards the right to see the other frames.

STEP 9: Click on VIEW/Animation and you will be able to see what your animation looks
like. Since I used my new animation sig in this lesson, I have it below so that you can
see animation working. For this one, I used the Speed of 25.
