This is Sorcha's CSS Lesson 12

I think I am understanding more about CSS this time. You are explaining it much better.

This is an idea

I noticed a few errors on my Ladybug test page. Will correct them when I learn how to have two "div" (cannot use the < >) sections in one file.

I can see where this would come in handy where I have NOTES in my tuts and would like them in italics. Plus, I hope to learn how to add a border around the div section; Like how I add a border around my tables.

Now I hope to learn where I would insert the special codes for italics and bold/strong. Plus, the placements of codes if I want to change the size of just one or two words in a paragraph... Don't you just love how I ask things a head of time?...lol

This will be the usual size that I use for tutorials.

This will be good for notes or special attention paragraphs.

This can also be used for special notes in text documents.

Once I find the coding order that I like, I must remember to keep a blank copy so that I can use it for other pages in the same style. And, I just found out that if you use font properties separately, that you need to use the font-names.... the colon (:)... the semi-colon (;) and a space at the end of each semi-colon. But, if you combine them, the extra digits are not needed (except the semi colon (;) after the font-family name.

The world is round
The sky is blue
The mountains are high
The oceans are deep.

Now this is getting harder *S* As I need to remember which codes go into the style section and which codes can go into the paragraph section...... Never mind, codes do NOT go into paragraph sections.

I know that I have probably coded these wrong this time, but I am learning.

I am still playing with the codes, had some wrong, went back and changed them. Hope these are correct now.

I think I got it!!!!!

Here I am using a margin of 3% all around, a thick red border and a pink background color.

Here I am using a padding of 5% and margin at 15% all around. And I am using the original bagckground image with opacity of 44%.

Extra done in HTML

Here is the extra paragraph that you wanted in html. Now I am seeing how css is a lot easier than html.

A simple polar bear This is one of my latest tutorials that I created. It is done using Vectors and is very simple to do. It is so simple that I have it as a Beginner Level. I add more tutorials all the time so please keep coming back to my web site. I am going to ramble a bit to get this paragraph to become longer so that it goes next to the image.

This is now getting VERY frustrating as my coding is not working. I cannot figure out why the codes will not work, even though the are correctly entered. Could there be an error on this web page? Is there something so minute and simple that I am over-looking it? Will try something different shortly to see if it is this page or not.
